American Movie

Passion is the key. Wether you are clean cut business man or a trailer park alcoholic, nothing can stop you from reaching your dreams but yourself. EAT, SLEEP, and BREATHE your PASSION/DREAM. I think this movie did a great job at bringing out of this world dreams to a realistic level. No one ever just wakes up and all your dreams come true. You actually have to WORK and WORK HARD. When Mark didn’t have enough extra he used his mom, he slept in the film room, and no matter what else was going on in his life he still had his film on the brain. Could you imagine if just have of the world and that kind of dedication? What we could accomplish? Another thing i thought was great about Mark was he was respectful to anyone and everyone that would have an effective on the movie. For example, when he was trying to get a couple lines from his grandfather, his grandfather say he was hungry… . then he was thirsty. But not once did he get pissed off. He stayed clam and collected. NO PROBLEMS JUST SOLUTIONS

One Trip

After watching “Inferno” my mind state as far as video has changed. You have to always give it your all in every shoot, where it be the first 1 or the 50 shot. Fake blood, whats that? Sly was bleeding for the head,  still acting and directing. I mean that is passion and not just for his career but for his family. Another, is the script is just a guideline its not in stone. So times the best shoots come from on the spot lines and acting. Like in “Inferno” Sly is talking about shooting this really cool scene that involves blowing up a helicopter. Right after he is done explain it they ask him if he just came up with that. And he replies back with “Yea”. It was classic. Another was you can’t stop nature, wether it be rain, snow, wind or SMOKE. I just really loved the background story to Sly. I think this video would have been a lot more effective if it would have been showed before the pass project. ” There is no heaven or hell, there is right now and this could be all gone tomorrow.”   ONE TRIP

CLASSIC!!!!!LOL!!!

Another amazing detail but great use of sound choice as well.
